The Rapha Women’s 100 is a splendid annual celebration of women’s cycling and the community it creates around the world. On Saturday 14th September 2019, women all over the world will ride again, 100 km in one day. Riding together, creating memories and friendships, inspiring each other and achieving a collective goal.
Last year over 8000 women worldwide were out and about to ride their 100km... all on the same day. This year the event takes place on the 14th of September 2019. Bikehigh will join the Rapha Women's 100 team in Ghent to guide, coach and connect all of you: team-mates, friends, those new to the sport and racers alike who will once again take up the challenge.
The Women’s 100 is a ride for everyone and attracts new cyclists every year. The distance might sound daunting but it’s not as far as you think. The first 150 sign ups will ride with a ride leader in groups of max 15. Those who join the waiting list will receive our GPX file. The W100 Ghent will be organised by passionate Rapha ride leader Bjorn. The ride will cover the Flemish Ardennes on a nice relatively traffic free route.
Timings
9h -- meet up Pedaleur de Flandres Cycling Cafe
9.30-45h -- group formation and roll out
12h -- Coffee/drink/toilet stop (at own expense)
16h -- Arrival in Ghent at restaurant Way - opportunity for drinks and snacks
Extra info: Parking (free park and ride) meet up point WEBA store where ride leaders will pick you up. Paid parking at restaurant Way, pick up ride leader.
